About this Course

For all ages. Did you know Port Moody is home to 9 species of bats? Did you know some of our bat species are the size of your thumb? Come join us during Bat Appreciation Week for a presentation to find out why bats are amazing creatures. Come and learn about their biology, where they live, myths about them, challenges they face, and how you can help protect them. You will also find out what the City of Port Moody is doing to help our local bat population as a Certified Bat Friendly Community. Open to all ages and feel free to come early and check out some of the educational props close up!
