About this Course

Ever see a bird and wonder “what kind of bird is that?” Do you ever think to yourself “I should get into birding” Well now is your chance! This 1.5 hour long session is going to focus on songbirds in mating colours and their mating displays as well as binocular basics. Meeting at the Tennis Court Picnic tables behind the Rec Centre, we will walk along Shoreline Trail Multi Use Path and Gravel trail, watching and discussing song birds as we go. We will be going rain or shine so please dress appropriately! Please bring your own binoculars if you have them, there will also be a handout of birds around the inlet for your reference! For noise and space considerations, this is a no pets and no strollers event. Sorry for any inconvenience.
